Mechanical Designer with WSP

As a Mechanical Designer in WSP's Property & Buildings team, you will engage in the holistic design of mechanical systems. This role allows you to work alongside senior professionals while participating in complex projects across various sectors. Your hands-on approach will ensure technical deliveries from conception through to construction, making a tangible impact on how communities function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit

• Develop complete drawing packages with senior designers

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems

• Perform heating and cooling load calculations

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams and vendors

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field

• 3–5 years in BIM modeling and mechanical system design

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit

• Understanding of building codes and standards

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
