We are currently seeking to hire a Catalyst Research Engineer
. In this position, you will work in our R&D Department to support production, evaluate catalyst materials and processes for gas purification, and optimize processing parameters, etc. The candidate will be a team member working on multiple projects, and should demonstrate an understanding of applicable chemical engineering skills. The successful candidate should be able to take a project from the conceptual stage through to completion, taking into account budgeting and operational considerations.

Job responsibilities

• Participate in experimental design and setup
• Prepare catalyst samples and perform evaluation in micro-reactor or engine lab.
• Observe and record testing results, identify and analyze the problems.
• Analyze and summarize testing results
• Write technical reports and submit experimental findings
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
• Business trips to carry out field tests and meet with clients

Educational Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.S. degree in chemical engineering (catalysis).
• No experience is required.

Additional Requirements

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good team player.
• Enthusiastic and positive.
• Experience on catalysis is a great asset.

Candidate Profile

As the ideal candidate, you should have a Ph.D. or M.S. degree and an educational background in catalysis. A solid work ethic, honesty, professionalism, and a willingness to adapt and meet deadlines within a changing environment is required. Good communication skills are required along with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
