Fire Alarm Systems Estimator Designer

Elevate your career as a Fire Alarm Systems Estimator & Designer with the Mircom Group in Vaughan, ON. In this full-time role, you'll prepare accurate quotations and enhance project designs for scalable solutions.

Mircom is North America’s largest independent designer of life safety solutions, seeking an Estimator & Designer responsible for developing comprehensive project documents and identifying cost-saving design opportunities. You’ll prepare project riser diagrams and collaborate with sales teams to ensure competitive bids and successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce material take-offs and accurate quotations

• Develop project design packages and shop drawings

• Review job specs and drawings thoroughly

• Communicate effectively with clients and consultants

• Coordinate with subcontractors for pricing and bids

Requirements:

• Diploma/degree in Engineering Technology or related field

• 2–5 years experience in estimating or design

• Knowledge of NFPA and local building codes

• Proven track record preparing commercial project quotations

• Valid driver’s license for site visits
