This full-time role offers a chance to work with the Materials Engineering team on crucial infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include concrete testing, collecting samples, and monitoring construction materials compliance. You'll work outdoors, collaborating with teams to ensure all safety and engineering standards are met while enhancing your skills in material analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site concrete testing according to relevant standards
• Perform compaction testing of asphalt and soils
• Assist in coring for material composition investigations
• Document project data and prepare quality control reports
• Liaise with clients and contractors during projects
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Preferably CCIL/ACI concrete testing certification
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours and on-site
