Design advanced tooling for Magna Exteriors using Siemens NX Mold Wizard and strong mechanical aptitude. This regular permanent role supports automotive production.
As a Designer, you will create tooling for large injection moulded fascias, rockers, claddings, and wheel flares. The work includes tool design through level 3, feasibility studies, engineering changes, and production support. You will collaborate with Tycos design resources, strategic tooling partners, estimating, program management, machining, build, and scheduling teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Design fascia and trim tooling for injection moulded automotive parts
- Create water, boring mill, and three dimensional contour features
- Manage single tool projects and engineering changes
- Review partner designs and provide production feedback
- Conduct feasibility studies and support design reviews
- Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma
- Designer Level 2 training matrix successfully completed
- Strong Siemens NX Mold Wizard working knowledge
- Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
- Problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
