We are hiring on behalf of our client, a growing construction and manufacturing organization in Vaughan operating across multiple divisions including railing, cladding, and window systems. The company recently migrated to SAP (FICO, HANA) and is focused on strengthening costing discipline, profitability visibility, and executive reporting.

This is a high-impact, fully on-site role within the Costing team. The Senior Financial & Costing Analyst will manage costing and profitability analysis across multiple divisions, driving margin transparency and executive-level reporting. This role is operational, analytical, and performance-driven, requiring strong ownership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to explain financial outcomes clearly to non-financial teams.

• Manage costing and profitability analysis across railing, cladding, and window divisions
• Roll VIPS monthly and maintain costing models and supporting files
• Analyze project profitability and conduct detailed variance analysis
• Perform root cause analysis on margin changes using structured approaches (five whys or multi-level analysis)
• Identify cost inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare comprehensive monthly executive reporting packages (50-60 slides)
• Contribute to annual budgeting in collaboration with scheduling managers and costing personnel
• Support quarterly forecasting and margin reviews
• Adapt reporting processes to SAP (FICO, HANA) following recent system migration
• Participate in limited inventory oversight (monthly checks and annual audit support)
• Engage regularly with operations, plant leads, production schedulers, and production heads to align financial outcomes with operational performance

• 2-3+ years management accounting or costing experience within construction or manufacturing
• Strong background in project profitability and cost analysis
• Solid understanding of POCM and revenue recognition principles
• Experience working with SAP (FICO, HANA) is a strong asset
• Advanced Excel and strong analytical capability
• Ability to conduct structured root cause analysis
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders
• Proactive, accountable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• CPA designation is an asset
