Be an integral part of ASSA ABLOY Door Security Solutions as a Cash Applications Specialist in Vaughan, Ontario. Focus on accurate application of customer payments and support of the credit process.
This position entails managing customer account payments, enabling effective cash flow initiatives, and collaborating with various teams. With a minimum of two years of related experience, you will ensure cash applications are processed efficiently and discrepancies are resolved. Your strong organizational skills will be essential for month-end activities and supporting audit requests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Apply payments promptly to maintain customer accounts
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and disputes
• Match invoices to payments using bank data
• Support month-end close and AR reconciliations
• Handle internal and external inquiries efficiently
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance
• Two years experience in cash applications or AR
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Familiarity with JD Edwards is beneficial
