Microsoft System Engineer
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Client Systems Engineer with strong Endpoint management experience, to help with a SCCM to InTune migration
, for our industrial client.
This role is hybrid, two days per week onsite in Vaughan.
Our client is undertaking a significant endpoint modernization initiative focused on transitioning enterprise endpoint management from Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) to Microsoft Intune. While both platforms currently exist within the environment, this role will play a key part in advancing the organization’s modern management strategy, improving endpoint security, streamlining device lifecycle management, and supporting cloud-first endpoint administration.
The successful candidate will work closely with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Security teams to support and enhance enterprise endpoint management services while helping guide the migration toward a modern Intune‑managed environment.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:In this role, you will administer and support enterprise endpoint management platforms, with primary ownership of Microsoft Intune and supporting responsibilities for Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM). You will lead endpoint modernization initiatives, support endpoint security and compliance, manage application deployment and device provisioning, and contribute to the organization’s migration from traditional endpoint management to a modern cloud‑based model.
REQUIREMENTS:Must‑have:
- 5–8+ years of IT endpoint engineering experience
- 3–5+ years of Microsoft Intune administration experience
- 3–5+ years of Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 endpoint management
- Experience with Windows Autopilot provisioning and deployment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
- Experience administering endpoint compliance policies, configuration profiles, application deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle management
- Experience supporting endpoint security and compliance initiatives
- Experience providing advanced (Level
3) endpoint support - Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Security teams
Nice‑to‑have:
- Experience leading or supporting SCCM‑to‑Intune migration initiatives
- Experience with modern endpoint management strategy and endpoint modernization programs
- Experience evaluating and implementing new endpoint technologies
- Familiarity with cloud‑first device management approaches
- Experience working within enterprise‑scale endpoint environments
Work hours:
Standard business hours with occasional after‑hours work and possible participation in on‑call support activities.
The average hourly contract pay range for this field is as follows:
- Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience in area of expertise — $75–$85/hr
- Senior: 10+ years of experience in area of expertise — $85–$95/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, certifications, and market conditions.
