Security Architect

emergiTEL is hiring a Lead Security Architect for our client.

We're looking for an experienced security leader with deep expertise in multi-cloud security, secure architecture, and Dev Sec Ops . In this role, you'll lead security architecture initiatives, embed security into the solution lifecycle, and help shape the organization's cloud and AI security strategy.

What You'll Do

• Review solution architectures to ensure alignment with security best practices and enterprise standards.
• Provide security-by-design guidance to technology architects throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Develop security architecture roadmaps, standards, templates, and reference architectures.
• Act as the subject matter expert for cloud security across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Partner with technology, engineering, and business teams to embed security into architecture and Dev Ops practices.
• Lead threat modeling, cloud security reviews, and security assessments for new technologies and AI initiatives.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering teams on security tools, including SIEM, Endpoint Protection, DLP, and Vulnerability Management.
• Promote security awareness and strengthen secure design practices across technology teams.

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in security architecture for cloud and on-premises environments.
• Strong expertise in Azure, AWS, GCP, Dev Sec Ops , and cloud security engineering.
• Experience with secure application design, CI/CD security, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, CSA CCM, OWASP, and TOGAF.
• Experience conducting threat modeling and developing enterprise security roadmaps.
• Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
