Solutions Architect

Role Summary

The Solution Architect leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems that support Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, and Project Management functions across Modern Niagara. This role translates business requirements into scalable technology solutions, establishes architectural standards, and ensures business applications, integrations, automation solutions, and data platforms align with organizational objectives and long‑term technology strategy. In addition to owning the architecture and roadmap for Epicor ERP, this role is responsible for designing and supporting Power Platform solutions, developing automation through Python scripting, and enabling enterprise application solutions and integrations across Azure and SharePoint technologies.

In addition to owning the architecture and roadmap for Epicor ERP, this role is responsible for designing and supporting Power Platform solutions, developing automation through Python scripting, and enabling enterprise application solutions and integrations across Azure and SharePoint technologies.

This role supports both Modern Niagara and Airwise. The successful candidate may be based anywhere within the GTA but must be available to attend the Vaughan and Hamilton offices as business needs require.

Epicor ERP is a critical platform supporting finance, supply chain, manufacturing, field operations, and project delivery. This role ensures the platform remains scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business needs while reducing reliance on external consultants and enabling long‑term operational efficiency through strong architecture, governance, automation, and integration practices. The role also supports Modern Niagara’s broader digital transformation by introducing scalable business applications and automation solutions that streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve productivity across the organization.

• Own the end‑to‑end architecture, governance, and roadmap for the Epicor ERP ecosystem.
• Drive business value through scalable ERP configurations, integrations, customizations, Power Platform applications, automation solutions, and data solutions.
• Support operational excellence by ensuring reliable, secure, and maintainable ERP processes and technologies.
• Design and deliver Power Platform solutions and automation initiatives that improve business efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Support enterprise applications and integrations across Azure and SharePoint environments.
• Bridge business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

• Own the end‑to‑end solution architecture for Epicor ERP, including configuration, customization, security, environment management, and extension strategy.
• Lead or support Epicor implementations, upgrades, and migrations from discovery and requirements gathering through go‑live and post‑implementation support.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications and provide recommendations on configuration, customization, and third‑party solutions.
• Design and oversee integrations between Epicor and enterprise systems, including Azure services, middleware platforms, Power Platform, analytics environments, and other business applications.
• Develop and maintain Epicor customizations using BPM workflows, Epicor Functions, Kinetic UI Customization, Application Studio, BAQs, reporting tools, and APIs.
