Drive data innovation at GEI as a Data Engineer, focusing on building robust data pipelines and integrations for AI capabilities. Your expertise will support our digital initiatives effectively.
As a critical member of the team, the Data Engineer will design and maintain data pipelines that ensure reliable access to enterprise data. This role will support AI solutions and business applications, collaborating with AI Engineers, solution architects, and platform teams to align with GEI standards. Utilizing your knowledge of Azure data services will be instrumental in optimizing performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain data pipelines for AI solutions
• Develop integrations across various enterprise data sources
• Build and manage data stores supporting AI retrieval patterns
• Implement data quality and governance controls
• Support Power BI analytics and data models
Requirements:
• 4+ years of data engineering experience
• Proficient in Python and SQL;
PySpark preferred
• Familiar with Azure Data Factory and Synapse
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines
• Understanding of data governance principles
