Senior Bilingual Communications Specialist

Lead bilingual communications at W.W. Grainger, Inc. by writing, editing, and translating high-impact content in English and French. Support Grainger Canada through accurate, compliant messaging.

This senior specialist reports to the Senior Manager, Communications, providing advisory and executional support across internal and external communications. You will manage translation requests, partner with vendors, and support enterprise, people, and change communications. The work requires culturally appropriate messaging aligned with brand, language, and French-language standards.

• Develop, write, edit, and translate English and French communications
• Coordinate translation submissions with localization vendors and established workflows
• Advise leaders and stakeholders on bilingual messaging and language risk
• Localize content for clarity, cultural relevance, and brand alignment
• Execute communications across SharePoint and Firstup channels

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, translation, journalism, or related field
• Three to five-plus years in communications, translation, or related work
• Experience translating sensitive communications in English and French
• Enterprise platform, content management, and language-tool experience
• Exceptional bilingual writing, judgment, organization, and collaboration skills
