CB&I Procurement Buyer

Position: CB&I Procurement Buyer Role
Step into the Procurement Buyer role at CB&I, where you'll manage vendor contracts and purchase orders for our Storage Solutions. Bring your negotiation skills and keen attention to detail to optimize our procurement processes.

This Buyer position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and involves evaluating bids and maintaining ongoing vendor relationships. You will proactively seek out new bidders, prepare request for quotations, and align purchases with project schedules. Your analytical skills will help in the bid evaluation and purchase order issuance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively seek and qualify new vendors

• Negotiate small to medium value purchase orders

• Evaluate bids and issue purchase orders

• Maintain comprehensive vendor and product documentation

• Assist in soliciting budgetary pricing for projects

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in supply chain or procurement

• Educational background in Business or related field

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills

• Familiarity with procurement software, including JDE-E1

• Ability to work collaboratively across functions
