Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Kitchener Executive Consultants Inc. is conducting a search on behalf of a leading manufacturer of engineered HVAC systems serving the off‑road vehicle, bus, and industrial equipment sectors.

The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will play a critical role in managing the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services that support the production of highly engineered products. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams, the Strategic Sourcing Specialist will identify opportunities to improve supplier performance, reduce costs, mitigate supply chain risks, and strengthen overall procurement processes.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for assigned categories, leading supplier identification and selection activities, negotiating supplier agreements, analyzing market conditions and pricing trends, and establishing strong supplier partnerships. This role will also support new product introduction initiatives by engaging suppliers early in the product development cycle and ensuring materials and components are sourced effectively to meet project timelines.

Our ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and experience managing supplier relationships within a manufacturing or engineered product environment. A solid understanding of sourcing methodologies, contract management, supplier performance measurement, and total cost of ownership principles will be important to success in this position. Experience working with ERP systems and global suppliers is highly desirable.

Our Client’s preferred Salary Target is $95,000 - $105,000 and we encourage all applicants interested in this opportunity to apply. Please note, the hiring salary will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and ability to support the organization.
