Position: Junior Buyer with CTPAT Focus

As the Junior Buyer with CTPAT responsibilities, you will have the chance to apply your 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, ideally within manufacturing or automotive industries. You will manage purchase orders, engage with suppliers, and ensure adherence to procurement regulations while analyzing market trends to support cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create purchase orders per Magna’s procurement protocols

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery issues

• Conduct RFQs and cost analyses for sourcing

• Negotiate terms and ensure contract compliance

• Collaborate with teams on part changes and new launches

Requirements:

• Completion of post-secondary education

• 1-3 years in purchasing or procurement roles

• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; SAP is a plus

• Understanding of BOMs and supplier operations

• Occasional travel for vendor engagements
