Position: Buyer Role at Sobeys

Sobeys is seeking a full-time Buyer to support various categories from its Vaughan, Ontario office. Candidates should have relevant experience in demand forecasting and inventory planning. You will play a key role in ensuring inventory efficiency, managing service levels, and collaborating with vendors to uplift supply performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on Key Performance Indicators for service levels

• Manage inventory performance across assigned categories

• Oversee the replenishment process and purchase orders

• Monitor vendor performance on delivery timelines

• Identify opportunities for improvement across departments

Requirements:

• Undergraduate Degree or DEC with relevant experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in buying

• Strong Excel skills (intermediate level)

• Experience in Fresh or Produce categories preferred

• Familiarity with SAP system is an asset
