As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in Magna's procurement team, ensuring the procurement of materials aligns with production goals. This position requires a minimum of five years in purchasing roles and a strong understanding of the automotive sector. Proficiency in ERP software is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts for production items

• Communicate effectively with suppliers to maintain relationships

• Issue Purchase Orders and handle amendments efficiently

• Monitor and minimize supplier obsolescence claims

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements:

• Five years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing setting

• Post-secondary education or similar preferred

• Valid G driver’s license required

• Strong communication skills in English

• Understanding of basic accounting principles
