Inventory Control and Shipping Expert

Become an Inventory Control and Shipping Expert at JBT-1, focusing on efficient logistics and compliance. This strategic role covers all aspects of shipping and inventory processes.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will encompass stock keeping, shipping documentation, and inventory management within the manufacturing sector. You will drive compliance with trade regulations while enhancing material handling processes. Familiarity with computerized inventory systems and strong analytical skills are critical for managing inventory effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently execute all shipping and inventory tasks

• Prepare export/import documentation accurately

• Assess shipments for discrepancies and address issues

• Maintain shipping best practices and inventory methodologies

• Provide KPI reports on shipping and inventory activities

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 with preferred post-secondary education

• Extensive experience (5-10 years) in a shipping role

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Proficient in MS Office and inventory control systems

• Valid Raymond Reach forklift operator license
