Responsibilities

Joining our Canada’s Wonderland team means you’ll play an essential role in providing guests with a memorable visit.

  • Maintain and repair all restaurant and food related equipment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and associated controls.
  • Assist licensed trade members in the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Department.
  • Be responsible for the condition of assigned area/equipment.
  • May monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems for normal operation.
  • May diagnose and troubleshoot various equipment faults.
  • Have other opportunities to learn and expand your knowledge.

Job Requirements
  • Make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories.
  • Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Gain skills, knowledge, and experience that will benefit in your future.
  • Individuals enrolled in or a graduate from an HVAC related program.
  • Candidates that have a natural gas pipe fitter (G3) certification; must provide copy of certification.
  • Mechanical inclination and adept at equipment repair and troubleshooting.
  • Comfortable with heights and ladder work.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license (G/G2) with a clean abstract.
  • Own CSA approved safety footwear.
  • Understanding of standard practices, refrigeration, and building control systems and relevant codes (asset).
  • Previous experience with hand power tools and test equipment (asset).
  • Availability includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and able to work shifts that start at 6am.
