Advanced Maintenance Technician at Ocado

Ocado is hiring a Maintenance Technician for its Vaughan facility, focused on maintaining our high-tech Customer Fulfillment Center. This role emphasizes proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of automated systems.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Engineering Team Manager, executing planned maintenance while responding swiftly to equipment faults. Your primary focus will be ensuring reliability through careful monitoring and inspection of equipment and robots. Technical knowledge in automation is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems

• Document all maintenance tasks and repairs clearly

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently

• Ensure cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas

• Follow health and safety guidelines in all activities

Requirements:

• Technical or trade school degree in Maintenance

• Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance practices

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Comfortable with shift work, including nights

• Knowledge of CMMS is a plus
