Facilities Maintenance Technician at Skeena Gold

Contribute to the Eskay Creek Mine site as a Facilities Maintenance Technician with Skeena Gold + Silver Limited. This role encompasses maintenance of camp facilities and efficient operation of the Water Treatment Plant.

In this site-based position, reporting to the Site Maintenance Manager, you'll ensure a safe living and working environment at our remote camp. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs across diverse facilities, including accommodations, kitchens, and recreational areas. Particular emphasis is placed on compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while monitoring water quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on camp buildings

• Operate and maintain the Water Treatment Plant and systems

• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate repairs with contractors

• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities

• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a relevant environment

• Valid Water Treatment Plant Operator Level I Certification

• Experience in general building maintenance and repairs

• Class 5 Driver’s Licence
