Ice Maintenance Arena Caretaker Role

Join our team as an Ice Maintenance Arena Caretaker and ensure the facility is always game-ready. Operate the Zamboni, manage snow removal, and maintain cleanliness.

As part of your responsibilities, you will report to the Facilities Manager and handle a variety of tasks including cleaning dressing rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces. You will also maintain safety by keeping ice-free pathways, performing regular ice maintenance, and documenting maintenance logs. Shift work will occur during evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Zamboni during practices and games

• Clean and maintain bathrooms throughout the arena

• Ensure dressing rooms are tidy after use

• Remove snow and manage ice safety around doors

• Conduct regular maintenance on the ice plant

Requirements:

• Previous experience is an asset but not required

• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

• Strong focus on cleanliness and safety

• Detail-oriented in maintaining logs

• Committed to regular maintenance tasks
