Warehouse Janitor at Americold

Join Americold as a Warehouse Janitor, where you'll maintain cleanliness and sanitation in various facility areas. Your efforts will ensure a safe and orderly environment for all employees.

As a key member of the team at Americold, you'll be responsible for keeping office spaces, break rooms, and warehouse areas clean under general supervision. This role requires you to perform heavy cleaning tasks, routine maintenance, and report any issues as they arise. You'll also ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards while maintaining company grounds and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean floors, rugs, wash walls and glass

• Remove rubbish and debris from assigned areas

• Report maintenance needs to management

• Ensure pest control systems are functioning

• Remove snow and ice from pathways

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• At least one year of related work experience

• Strong understanding of safety rules and cleaning procedures

• Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Effective communication skills
