Maintenance Clerk

At GLS, every day brings a new challenge. As a Maintenance Clerk, you’ll play an important role in keeping our facilities, equipment, and operations running smoothly. From general building maintenance to conveyor inspections and repairs, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of hands‑on tasks and see the direct impact of your work.

Schedule:Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Contract:Full-time, Permanent
Salary:$23.00–$25.00 per hour, with the possibility of a higher rate based on experience.

• Inspect the general condition of the building, both inside and outside;
• Inspect truck wheel chocks and conveyor equipment;
• Inspect loading dock bumpers and clean them as required;
• Ensure garage doors are operating properly;
• Handle, transport, adjust, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials as required;
• Replace light bulbs throughout the facilities;
• Inspect conveyors and perform repairs when required;
• Perform basic painting and general building maintenance;
• Repair and maintain ropaks and logistics bars;
• Perform various maintenance and repair tasks based on operational needs.

• Valid driver's license;
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work;
• Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude;
• Resourceful and autonomous, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work;
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a small team;
• Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment where priorities can change
