Shift: Afternoon (3:00PM - 11:00PM)
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to day-to-day projects and LTP expectations through the leading and execution of maintenance projects, such as through troubleshooting, executing PM, corrective maintenance and assisting the Maintenance team:
Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance team, including providing feedback and conducting formal evaluations, to ensure employees have the right resource skills, competencies, and expertise to meet departments and agreed-upon objectives of the company:
Completion of administrative duties within the department such as approving employee over-time, leading Dayforce updates, and ensuring vacation schedules are distributed and approved in a timely manner
Lead shift hand over meetings on a daily basis, providing project updates, assigning jobs, and communicate counter measures when applicable
Support Maintenance Cost Containment objectives by tracking labor OT
Conduct workplace inspections at the assigned company location regarding safety, GMP violations, production line and equipment issues:
Be an example for others by always directing and performing work in a safe manner and following company’s health and safety policy and procedures
Recipe for Success
Post-secondary education in Engineering or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years of prior maintenance supervisory experience in a production-manufacturing environment (within food services/baking a strong asset)
Excellent problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills
Advanced working knowledge on mechanical/electrical systems and components
Working knowledge and experience on Automation;
Industrial Process and Control system; PLC;
Measuring Devices;
Instrumentation;
Robotic Application;
Bulk Handling System
Working knowledge and experience on Facility Maintenance and Plant Equipment
Planning, scheduling & assigning ability while well experienced in defining priorities, required skills & resources
Computer-savvy; holds practical knowledge on CMMS and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)
Multitasked in a fast-paced environment with lots of changes in direction based on business requirement
Being an example for others; a Safety-Oriented Supervisor with a positive “can do attitude
