Warehouse Sanitation Associate

Position: Warehouse Sanitation Associate at UNFI
Elevate sanitation standards with UNFI as a Warehouse Sanitation Associate in Concord, Ontario. Responsible for thorough cleaning and maintenance of the distribution center, ensuring a pristine environment.

This role focuses on warehouse cleanliness, performing routine tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and dusting. You will operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and Walkie Riders, ensuring all areas are free from debris. The ideal candidate should have previous sanitation experience in a warehouse or food production setting, ready to tackle diverse cleaning challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and corporate office

• Operate floor scrubber for efficient cleaning

• Empty garbage and recycling bins across all locations

• Document and resolve product leaks promptly

• Report policy violations to supervisors

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse sanitation experience preferred

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs when required

• Understand safety guidelines in warehouse environments

• Operate machinery such as Walkie Rider

• Willingness to work in varied temperatures
