Conveyor inspections and hands-on repairs define this full-time Maintenance Clerk position with GLS Canada in Vaughan, Ontario, working afternoons Monday to Friday.
As a Maintenance Clerk, you will support facilities, equipment, and operations through building maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical tasks. The schedule runs from 2:00pm to 10:00pm at 9501 Highway 50. This permanent position includes varied inspection and repair duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect conveyors and complete repairs when required
- Check building conditions inside and outside
- Inspect truck wheel chocks and conveyor equipment
- Replace facility light bulbs and perform basic painting
- Repair ropaks, logistics bars, and other equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Good physical condition for manual work
- Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude
- Resourceful, autonomous approach to troubleshooting issues
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
