Keep designated building areas clean through vacuuming, mopping, and washroom fixture care as a Light Duty Cleaner. Use cleaning equipment while maintaining daily custodial standards.
As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will perform general custodial requirements and related assigned duties. Your work includes cleaning common areas, restocking dispensers, and completing periodic equipment checks. You will also follow health and safety procedures and policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean designated building areas using varied custodial methods
- Vacuum carpets and perform spot cleaning
- Sweep and mop floors throughout common areas
- Restock soap, towels, tissue, and sanitary napkins
- Complete periodic checks of cleaning equipment
- Previous cleaning experience is an asset
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Use cleaning equipment, including I-mop and vacuum
- Reliably assist as needed with assigned duties
- Physically able to carry out position duties
