We are currently looking for a highly skilled, caring, and safety focused individual for our team. Reporting to the Construction Manager/Operations Manager, the Senior Project Manager will work directly with clients and various departments within the company to ensure a project is delivered on time and within budget. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams for one or more projects while managing all aspects of the project life cycle ensuring required performance deliverables of quality, cost, and schedules are achieved.

• Responsible for all aspects of the project.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the terms of contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with Buttcon’s Policy & Procedures Manual.

• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with owners, architects, consultants, trades, and the public.
• Promote Buttcon’s services and ensure client satisfaction.
• Act as a liaison between all Project Team members, both internal and external.

• Ensure compliance with Buttcon’s Health and Safety Program.
• Provide key leadership, set examples, and ensure safety minutes are provided.
• Ensure that all permits, insurance, and bonding are in place.

• Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel.
• Conduct regular site reviews and meetings; prepare and distribute minutes accordingly.

• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost control measures are in place.
• Prepare a cash‑flow and update it as required.
• Prepare monthly progress billings and monitor receipt of payment certificates.
• Review and authorize sub‑trade and material payments and ensure accurate cost coding.
• Ensure that sub‑trade/supplier’s accounts are reconciled.

• Prepare the baseline schedule; maintain and update it throughout the project.
• Track delays and apply for Extensions of Time and additional costs.
• Ensure letters of delay are issued when required.

• Assist in the tendering and award of trade contracts.
• Ensure material and subcontractor tenders are issued in a timely manner.
• Manage the Change Order process.
• Manage cash allowances.
• Manage and resolve contractual and technical issues with consultants and trades.
