Position: Production Supervisor - 12 Hour Night Shift

The Production Supervisor is responsible for protecting our core values and ensuring a safe and productive workplace.

Shift

Thursday to Saturday and every other Wednesday - from 8 pm to 8:30 am.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage a production team of hourly employees across multiple lines, leading by example and ensuring compliance with company policies related to Health & Safety, Environmental Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Food Safety and Quality.
  • Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, ensuring efficient use of materials, machines, and personnel for the shift.
  • Lead by example to train, develop, and inspire production teams to establish a high‑performance culture, working coherently to “win” together.
  • Maximize the efficiency on each line, collaborating with other departments (Engineering, Maintenance, R&D, Quality) to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Lead and drive root‑cause analysis to identify and eliminate issues, recommending solutions to prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with temp agencies as the primary contact to review staffing requirements and shift staff accordingly.
  • Review and approve employee hours through the payroll system (ADP); manage vacation requests and uphold company policy related to time off.
  • Collaborate with the People & Values team on employee relations, assisting with investigations and following progressive coaching initiatives.
  • Provide proactive Health & Safety leadership, ensuring behavior‑based observations are completed and incidents are reported promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, food science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety, quality, and GMP regulations.
  • 2+ years of experience in the food manufacturing field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
