Quality Supervisor – CNC Machining & Machine Building

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Quality Supervisor to support CNC machining and machine assembly operations.
This role is shop-floor focused and responsible for inspections, non-conformance management, ISO compliance, and leading the digitalization of quality reporting, including NCRs and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

 Perform and supervise hands-on inspection of machined parts, assemblies, and completed machines

 Inspect outsourced and supplier parts upon receipt

 Ensure compliance with drawings, GD&T, and specifications

 Lead NCR investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions

 Lead the digitalization of NCR and KPI systems, including data collection, reporting, and analysis

 Develop, track, and report quality KPIs (scrap, rework, NCR trends)

 Plan and conduct internal ISO audits and support external audits

 Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Suppliers to resolve quality issues

 Maintain calibration and proper use of inspection equipment

 Assign inspection priorities based on production schedules

Qualifications

 10+ years of experience in CNC machining and/or machine building quality

 Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and GD&T

Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools

 Experience with NCR management, KPI reporting, and quality systems

 Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal audit processes

Skills & Competencies

 Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking

 Practical, shop-floor oriented problem solver

 Ability to work in a fast-paced, custom manufacturing environment

Preferred

 Supervisory or lead experience

 Experience implementing digital quality tools (ERP, QMS, Excel, etc.)

 Lean / Six Sigma experience
