Process and Production Planner
Shifts: 1 Available - Day Shift
Compensation: $32-$35/hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed process travellers and BOMs for all active work orders.
Incorporate and maintain customer drawings, specifications and requirements.
Familiar with 3D modelling and drafting using CATIA V5 (preferred), with Solid Works as an alternative asset for design and detailing.
Required to be familiar with heat treatment, NDT, and various finishes used in the aerospace industry.
Familiar with specifications, including AMS, ASTM, Bombardier (BAPS, PPS), Airbus, and Military Specifications (MIL).
- Actively work with production and engineering to determine best process flow.
- Actively work with purchasing to confirm processes and raw materials.
- Actively work with quality to incorporate improvements and corrective actions.
- Coordinate and manage changes to existing work orders.
- Release process travellers and drawing packages as required.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers as required.
- Read and interpret drawings.
All other duties as assigned
Experience:
5-7+ years' experience required.
- Work experience with COSS, Visual or JobBOSS ERP software.
- Active knowledge of machining, fabricating, assembly and finishing processes.
- Certificate, degree or training in manufacturing, machining or engineering.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
