Job Duties
:
· Loads, unloads and moves products and materials using forklift equipment while ensuring the accuracy of quantities and qualities of materials shipped/received daily
· Ensure equipment is in safe and proper condition prior to use using daily pre-shift checklist
· Perform quality checks on incoming products
· Coordinate shipping of material to other facilities
· Ensure truck drivers are accounted for as per Company CTPAT requirements
· Loads trucks according to customer order requirements
· Ensure work area is clean and free of hazards as per Company's housekeeping expectations
· Other duties as assigned by Lead Hand, Supervisor, or Manager
skills required:
Knowledge of Company Quality standards and productsForklift Operating License Counterbalance and Walkie from certified trainerTransportation of Dangerous Goods Certification considered an assetGood hand-eye coordinationConsistently follow EHS general rules and procedures and is aware of the EHS policy.Demonstrates good initiative for working safely, reporting and participating in EHS.
