Overview

Compensation and Work Details
  • Pay Rate: $18-$20/hr
  • Schedule:

    Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Location:

    Thornhill, ON (transit accessible)
  • Work Type:
    Full-time hours, contract with potential to extend
Responsibilities
  • Assemble products and components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures while strictly following blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Perform basic machine operations and necessary adjustments to ensure the assembly process runs efficiently.
  • Inspect parts and finished products for defects to ensure total quality compliance, reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, adhering to all established health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management, including the accurate counting of components required for assembly.
  • Track and document production data, such as units completed and time spent, ensuring all paperwork is precise and up to date.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to consistently meet production targets and project deadlines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience in Assembly.
  • Experience using hand tools or power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
