Metal Finishing Tech; Grinder​/Polisher

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Finishing Technician to join our fast-paced manufacturing team. In this role, you will prepare, smooth, and finish a variety of flat and shaped metal components (such as stainless steel). Using a mix of electrical and pneumatic power tools, you will ensure all parts meet our quality and surface finish standards before they are packaged for delivery.

The ideal candidate has hands‑on manufacturing experience, understands the properties of different metals, and possesses a solid working knowledge of various abrasives and finishing techniques.

• Grind, sand, buff, deburr, and clean metal parts at various production stages to achieve specified finishes.
• Safely and effectively operate both portable power tools (e.g., belt sanders, angle grinders) and stationary grinding machinery.
• Execute beveling and rolling procedures on equipment according to specific technical instructions.
• Perform routine quality checks on finished components and accurately complete any required documentation or logs.
• Securely package completed products to prepare them for transport.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on machinery, maintain tools in excellent working condition, and keep your workspace organized.
• Strictly adhere to all established health and safety regulations, including the mandatory and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Adapt to changing production needs by executing other operational tasks as requested.

• Proven experience in a rapid manufacturing workplace.
• Strong familiarity with manual and power tool operations.
• Knowledge of metal types, particularly stainless steel, and their corresponding abrasive requirements.
• Ability to follow detailed, machine‑specific work instructions with high accuracy.
