Hours:

35 to 40 hours/Week
Work Setting:
Manufacturing

Responsibilities   Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models for CNC programming
Design layouts and analyze drawings to determine dimensions and make manual program adjustments as necessary
Create simple 2D AutoCAD drawings for parts and convert 2D AutoCAD drawings into 3 Axis CNC toolpaths and convert 3D Parts into 3 Axis/5-Axis CNC toolpaths for production
Input the product design into computer modeling software and load the correct cutting tools for the job
Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process
Maintain and update a CNC tooling database and daily production logs
Complete quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product and ensure health and safety
Experience   2 to 3 years of previous experience in the field or similar position
Education   College diploma in related field is required for this position
Skills   Fluent in English and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to supervise 1 to 2 people
General knowledge of woodworking, manufacturing engineering and experience programming (Master Cam, Solid Works, Alpha Cam, Pythagoras, Pegasus) and operating CNC Machinery (Bacci Artiste- 5 Axis CNC, Bacci- CNC Lathe, Biesse Rover

B) is preferred
Effective interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, team player and accurate
Ability to work in fast-paced environment, work under pressure and attention to details
Ability to provide written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance
