Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Loads and unloads trucks, operates a standard forklift (Stand‑up crown) and related equipment and tools; moving materials throughout the plant.
Loads and unloads incoming materials from trailers using a forklift or other equipment or tools, checks quantities and item descriptions against purchasing order, and enters orders into the computer/Daily Logs.
Organizes and/or stocks raw materials in the work area, follows departmental housekeeping requirements, and leaves the work environment and equipment clean at the end of shift.
Performs all duties according to established safety and efficiency procedures and maintains workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Performs daily checks for maintenance and safe operation of the forklift.
Functional & Technical Competencies
Ability to sort items along with good organizational skills.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Prior experience/ability to drive a forklift.
Able to pass in‑house driving test.
Must be able to comprehend and follow work instructions, loading schedules and production tickets.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions; communicate with coworkers and management clearly and respectfully; and work in an ever‑changing, fast‑paced team environment.

Experience / Education
Basic ability to read and write English.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Prior experience/ability to drive a Stand‑up crown and order picker forklift.
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work safely, take initiative, multi‑task, and work both independently and as a part of a team.
Work experience with pneumatic tools and/or in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Job Factors & Work Environments
Must stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations as required. Also must be able to lift heavy product or raw materials up to 120 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8‑hour shift or longer in overtime situations to meet customer demand. Heavy loads must be team‑lifted. A work pace that maintains integrity of make‑to‑order system is required.
Safety‑focused, fast‑paced manufacturing plant engaged in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement. Work environment includes a clean and safe work area and exposure to high noise decibels, hot raw materials, fire‑retardant materials, and limited chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment is required to be worn for any hazards and is supplied by the company.
Key Relationships
Supplied by Plant Supervisor or the Plant Operations Manager. May receive direction from the Department Lead.
