Raw Material Handler​/Cutter

Vaughan Division, 55 Westcreek Drive, Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

• Receive, store, cut and distribute raw materials to all departments.

• Keep accurate inventory of raw material in designated area.
• Cut/shear material to size according to production work orders;
  Issue material to the production floor.
• Loading and offloading of material coming into the warehouse.
• Knowledge of Visual is an asset.
• Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.
• Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required;
  Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.
• Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Lift and tow motor license.
• Must have basic computer knowledge and skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Must have a vast knowledge of both cutting and shaping machinery and equipment.
• Must be knowledgeable of measuring instruments (tape, caliper, and micrometer).
