Night Shift Production Worker

Position: Night Shift Production Worker at Salit Steel
Become a key team member at Salit Steel as a Night Shift Production Worker in Concord, ON. Operate machinery to fulfill steel orders safely and efficiently for our valued customers.

The Production Worker reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a critical role in maintaining quality and safety standards while serving our clients. In this position, you will operate various shop equipment while adhering to company policies and procedures. Training for this role will occur during day or afternoon shifts, preparing you for the core night shift responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently

• Retrieve structural steel and rebar from warehouse

• Feed and unload processing machines as needed

• Ensure machine guards are in place

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• 2–3 years in manufacturing or construction preferred

• Ability to lift 50 lbs (23 kg) safely

• Training on overhead cranes and saws will be provided

• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
