Millwright - Afternoon Shift

Job Overview

Immediate open position:
Skilled Millwright / Maintenance Technician for Magna Exteriors production equipment.

• Maintain presses, rolling mills, molding machines and other production equipment.
• Repair, lubricate, dismantle machines and move machinery as required.
• Assemble and install equipment such as drive shafts and conveyors.
• Operate tool room equipment, weld and fabricate required items.
• Work overtime as required and assist with customer demands.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment at shift end.
• Communicate issues or problems to supervisor or manager.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Milt wright certificate.
• Certificate from college or technical school, or five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical processes.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and ability to handle a variety of mechanical/maintenance issues.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good English communication skills (written and verbal). Basic mathematical skills; able to compute ratios and percentages.

• Overhead crane license.
• Forklift license.
• Tier1 automotive manufacturing experience.

$38–$40 per hour; regular/permanent worker type.
