General Labour Assembly

Overview

We are seeking General Labourers to join our client, a manufacturing company in Vaughan, for day and afternoon shifts. This role involves lifting, stacking, and part selection for furniture making. The ideal candidate will possess a manufacturing background. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on precision manufacturing and assembly processes.

• Assist with assembly, machining and other fabrication tasks as needed
• Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to support manufacturing processes
• Load and unload materials using forklifts or other heavy equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards

• Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Familiarity with machining, assembly, welding, and the use of hand tools and power tools
• Prior experience in manufacturing, construction, or warehouse environments is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required

This position is integral to our manufacturing operations, requiring a proactive individual committed to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Shift: 3:30pm – 12:30am

Pay: $18.85 per hour plus shift premium
