Westlake Production Technician

Position: Westlake Production Technician Role
Join Westlake as a Production Technician, enhancing production efficiency and quality in your shift. Support operational KPIs and uphold safety standards while leading the floor team.

In this key role, you will assist the Production Supervisor in overseeing compounding and production processes. Your contributions will directly impact our goal of zero defects and operational excellence. A focus on Lean practices will help you to minimize waste and enhance productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct safety checks and promote best practices

• Ensure compliance with quality control measures

• Train and develop team members on the production floor

• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, etc.)

• Minimum of 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment

• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma knowledge preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts
