Our prominent client within the industrial manufacturing sector is actively seeking motivated individuals to fill the role of Machine Operator / General Labour in the growing industrial hub of Vaughan. This entry‑level opportunity is within our manufacturing & logistics division and offers hands‑on training for those who want to break into automated manufacturing.

Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday 12PM - 12AM

- Complete a comprehensive pre‑start safety checklist at the beginning of every 12‑hour shift
- Assist with basic machinery setup, material loading, and preparation for CNC machine production cycles
- Monitor automated machine performance constantly to detect and report any operational deviations or product defects
- Maintain precise documentation on production sheets and update digital attainment boards to reflect daily output
- Communicate effectively between shifts to ensure a smooth transition and highlight any material changes or machine issues
- Perform basic troubleshooting of minor process deficiencies to ensure continuous quality control of manufactured parts
- Execute material handling duties, including safely loading raw materials and unloading completed components from conveyor lines
- Follow standardized inspection frequencies and use measurement tools to verify compliance with technical instructions
- Power down auxiliary equipment such as conveyors, pumps, and facility motors when not actively in use to save energy
- Perform manual packaging, sorting, component rework, and strict general housekeeping to maintain a safe work environment
- Adhere strictly to all corporate safety regulations, facility guidelines, and occupational health protocols
- Demonstrated mechanical inclination or past experience using hand tools, power tools, or assembly equipment
- Complete openness and enthusiasm to learn specialized machine operations within the glass and CNC sectors
- Physical capability to comfortably stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a 12‑hour shift
- Possession of certified steel‑toed safety shoes required for immediate facility access and floor safety
- Completion of Grade 12 education or an equivalent high school diploma or practical technical background
- Full availability and commitment to work the required Friday through Sunday schedule reliably every week
