We have a fantastic Contract-to-Hire Shipper opportunity available for a skilled Forklift Operator in Vaughan! We are looking for a reliable professional to manage our shipping operations.

Position:
Shipper / Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Location:

Vaughan, ON

Shift: 12-Hour Continental Rotation (alternating 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Pay Rate: $26.97 per hour (Base)

Premium:
You will receive an additional shift premium for all night shift hours!

Responsibilities
Forklift Operation:
Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift to load/unload trailers and stage products.

Shipping Duties:
Use SAP and RF scanners to process, pick, and prepare outbound shipments.

Verification:
Ensure all orders are accurate and all shipping documentation is correct before departure.

Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Communication:
Coordinate with team members and drivers to ensure a smooth flow of materials.

Qualifications
What you need to bring!

Certification: MUST hold a valid, external Counterbalance forklift license. (This is mandatory).

Experience:

A minimum of 2 years of experience as a forklift operator or shipper.

System

Skills:

Must have previous experience using SAP and RF scanners.

Shift Flexibility:
Must be able to work the 12-hour rotating continental shift (both days and nights).

Industry (Asset):
Experience in Food, Pharmaceutical, or Pulp & Paper environments is a strong asset.

Reliability:
Proven track record of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
