We are currently seeking a hands‑on, team‑oriented Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Vaughan. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and enjoys coaching teams, driving efficiency, and improving operations.

The successful candidate will oversee approximately 30 employees within the sewing department and play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational goals are achieved daily.

• Supervise and support approximately 30 production employees in the sewing department
• Review and coordinate daily production schedules and staffing requirements
• Conduct daily team meetings and communicate production expectations
• Ensure production targets, GMP standards, quality requirements, and safety expectations are met
• Monitor KPIs including quality, safety, productivity, and scrap reduction
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives
• Coach, mentor, and develop employees to strengthen team performance
• Assist with performance management and succession planning
• Act as a liaison between employees and management while supporting workplace changes

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or similar production environment
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong teamwork skills
• Experience working in a unionized environment is a strong asset
• Knowledge of CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreements)
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices
• Strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Valid passport required
• Must live locally to the Vaughan area
