Lead Manufacturing Engineer Position

Step into a pivotal role as Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Wind Borne in Redwood Shores, CA. Drive process improvements and lead a new team in a semi-automated environment.

Wind Borne is looking for an experienced engineer with around five years' background in production and New Product Introduction (NPI). You will manage the transition of parts, optimize the manufacturing process, and collaborate on design-for-manufacturability initiatives. Expect to build a team within the first year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering for parts from design to production

• Establish effective design-to-manufacturing workflows

• Create functional test fixtures for quality assurance

• Design jigs and assembly aids for streamlined assembly

• Develop comprehensive production documentation

Requirements:

• At least 5 years in a manufacturing role

• Experience in leading teams is a plus

• Competency in designing test protocols

• Adaptability to work with changing designs

• Must be on-site in Redwood Shores
