We are hiring Manual Lathe Machinists for multiple positions in Concord Ontario.

We are a versatile machine shop located in Toronto, specializing in the manufacturing and assembly of custom machine parts. Be it shafts, bushings, standoffs, or inserts, our shop is ready to cater to a variety of projects and provide you with the parts you need. Our machine shop in Toronto is regularly updated to ensure we always stay on top of the latest technologies, for the best, modern machine shops need to be ahead of the curve.

With advanced CNC machining capabilities used for processes like sawing, milling, turning, and grinding, the range of components that we can produce and assemble is virtually endless.

This is a job shop environment where most the jobs coming through the door will be different with some re-occurring ones.

• Read engineering drawings
• Run machines to specifications
• Analyze and formulate strategies for how to repair components and assemblies
• Follow all workplace safety protocol
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances
• Use of hand tools to meet specifications
• Quality assurance of parts (deburring & surface finish inspections)

• 3+ years of relevant manual machining experience
• Ability to accurately use and read precision measuring tools & equipment
• Flexibility to work in teams or independently
• Experience with the following materials;
  Titanium, 17-4 PH, Inconel 625/718, Aluminum Bronze, and 3XX series Stainless Steel.
• Experience turning O-ring grooves
• Experience polishing surfaces to 16

• Experience grinding inserts for custom profiles

• Starting pay of $36.00/h
