As a first shift Operations Trainee, you will play a vital role in supervising hourly employees and managing production activities at Carpenter Co. in Toronto. This role involves collaborating with management to meet yearly targets and training team members. Your focus will be on efficiency, safety, and continual improvement within our manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage departmental operations and employee activities
• Train and mentor hourly workers and supervisors
• Conduct production surveys to remove bottlenecks
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Prepare operational schedules and maintain reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
• 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing
• Leadership skills to coach and motivate staff
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office
