LGC Standards is looking for a Weighing Associate to support accurate chemical weighing and ensure safety compliance. This is a fixed-term role focused on quality and teamwork.

In this 6-month fixed-term contract, the Weighing Associate will manage the weighing of chemicals and oversee inventory processes at LGC Standards. The role involves promoting safety and maintaining a clean workspace while ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously. You will collaborate with various teams to fulfill operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Anticipate and report possible safety concerns

• Manage retrieval and proper storage of chemicals

• Accurately weigh materials as per specifications

• Perform regular quality checks and inspections

• Report issues and maintain communication with team leads

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant position

• Proficient in both written and spoken English

• Familiarity with different measuring units and balances

• Strong problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment

• Compliance with safety regulations during chemical handling
