Process Plant Operator at De Beers

Join De Beers as a Process Plant Operator on a fixed-term contract at Gahcho Kué Mine. This position focuses on optimizing plant operations for maximum diamond recovery while ensuring safety and compliance.

Located in the Northwest Territories, you will support the Process Plant Team, reporting directly to the Process Plant Supervisor. This role involves a 14-day on/14-day off rotation and emphasizes safe working practices and operational excellence. Your commitment to safety and environmental standards will enhance the overall performance of the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate crushers, scrubbers, conveyors, and other equipment

• Monitor and inspect plant systems for malfunctions

• Record process data and report deviations promptly

• Maintain logs and complete required documentation

• Support personnel movement throughout the Process Plant

Requirements:

• Experience with small mobile equipment preferred

• Commitment to Safety, Health, and Environmental standards

• Relevant qualifications in plant operations

• Ability to work in remote areas

• Preference for local First Nations membership
